Short version: VOLT has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. What you type stays on your own phone.
Job cards, invoices, clients, materials, CoC test readings and settings are saved in the browser storage of the device you use. We do not receive them. We cannot read them. If you clear your browser data or uninstall the app, they are gone — so use the built-in backup/export before you wipe a phone.
Every other part of the app — fault finding, calculators, job cards, invoicing, PDF export, the CoC report — works with no signal and no network.
Payment is handled by Yoco on Yoco's own checkout page. Card details go to Yoco, never to us. We receive the order reference and the email you enter there so we can send your copy of the app. If the app is bought through Google Play, Google handles the payment under Google's own privacy terms.
VOLT is a tool for working electricians and is not directed at children.

When you buy: Yoco processes your card payment (we never see your card number). When you collect your copy you send us your name, email and Yoco receipt number. We use these only to deliver your licensed copy, licence key and updates, and to answer you. We keep them for as long as you hold a licence and as long as tax law requires (5 years). We do not sell or share them, except with service providers that help deliver the app (e.g. email and hosting) under confidentiality.
Your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013: you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to its use. Email us. If you are unhappy with our answer you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa): inforegulator.org.za, complaints.IR@inforegulator.org.za.
